A consistent derivation of the complete set of s vectors needed for vibrational analysis by the Wilson GF matrix method is presented. The vectors obtained for the out-of-plane wag are given by new formulae which are considerably simpler than those presently in use. The formulae for the linear bending coordinate are also derived.
