Starting from an n “plane” soliton solution of a conditionally integrable (n+1)-dimensional system, one can find a dromion solution which is localized in all directions for a suitable potential. The dromion structures for a (3+1)-dimensional conditionally integrable system, Jimbo–Miwa–Kadomtsev–Petviashvili (JMKP) equation system, are studied in detail. Though a special type of multi-dromion solution is allowed for the JMKP system, all the dromions can only be located on a moving line. The interactions among dromions are not elastic. In addition to a phase shift, the “shape” of two dromions may also be changed after interaction.
