Lidocaine attenuates the hypotensive and inflammatory responses to endotoxemia in rabbits

Abstract

Lidocaine attenuated the hemodynamic and inflammatory responses to endotoxemia in rabbits. Findings suggest that lidocaine administration may prevent the development of hypotension and metabolic acidosis during endotoxemia.
