A beam of 145-Mev protons of polarization 69\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}2% was scattered from liquid deuterium. $\mathrm{pn}$ scattering events were identified by a coincidence method. The asymmetry in the scattering was measured. These data can be compared with polarization in free $\mathrm{np}$ scattering at the appropriate angles.
