Abstract

Alcoholic tuberculous patients performed more poorly on two measures of differentiation than comparable nonalcoholics. The correlation between these two measures indicates that interpersonal discrimination and perceptual differentiation are highly related and that cognitive styles may be expressed in social as well as perceptual settings. This may contribute to the further understanding of various personality and clinical groups.
