A formalism is developed for computing bremsstrahlung cross sections d sigma /d Omega dk, differential in the photon energy k and angle theta , for electrons incident on a stationary target. The calculation, similar to the pair production calculation of Tsai (1974), uses the Born approximation, is relativistic and includes recoil of the target nucleus. As an example, the cross sections are computed for hydrogen, helium and carbon at angles 15 degrees , 30 degrees , 60 degrees , 90 degrees and 150 degrees for energies in the range 50 MeV to 5 GeV.
