Power effects in polarization spectroscopy on a water solution of malachite green

Abstract

An experimental evidence of shape deformation of PS spectrum and a nonquadratic pump power dependence of the PS signal for a water solution of malachite green is presented. A calculation of nonlinear polarization at all orders in the pump and linear in the probe was needed to interpret the data.
