Immuno pathologyis a collection of 26 papers by different authors detailing their research. The papers were presented at the Third International Symposium on Immunopathology. The Symposium was held at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation, La Jolla, Calif, in January, 1963. Although primarily from laboratories in the United States, the authors represent six other countries as well. The book is divided into five sections: I. Structure and Genetics of Immune-Globulins; II. Antibody Formation; III. Influence of Various Factors on Antibody Response; IV. Mechanisms of Immunogenic Kidney Diseases; and V. Mechanisms of Blood Cell Damage Produced by Immunological Reactions. At the end of each of these sections there is space allotted for discussion of the papers in it by all participants in the Symposium, of whom there are 60 listed. Since this volume represents a collection of research papers, to review it in depth would require a reviewer to possess special
