Fungal chemical factory: Controlled expression of the complete tenellin biosynthetic pathway from Beauveria bassiana was achieved in the heterologous host Aspergillus oryzae by replacing the promoters of all four of its component genes with the A. oryzae amyB promoter; this produces tenellin at over five times the concentration of the native host.
