Prevalence and Incidence of Gallstones in Liver Cirrhosis

Abstract

Given that the prevalence of gallstone disease is higher in cirrhotics than in noncirrhotic patients, cirrhosis of the liver may be considered a risk factor for cholecystolithiasis.
