Abstract We found that alkylhydrazides, which are commercially available reagents, formed organogels in various organic solvents having dielectric constants ranging from 2 to 66. We also found that gel electrolytes consisting of alkylhydrazide, PC, and LiClO4 showed good ionic conductivities, which were comparable to those of the corresponding liquid electrolytes.
