Ballistic Methods of Measuring<i>g</i>- the Direct Free-Fall and Symmetrical Rise-and-Fall Methods Compared

Abstract

Ballistic methods of measuring the absolute value of the free-fall acceleration g are discussed. Particular attention is given to various error sources and measurement limitations which affect the accuracy obtainable in this measurement.
