Abstract

The reaction of lanthanoids, Hg(C6F5)2, and tBu2pz (pz = pyrazolate) in THF provided the first monomeric lanthanoid complexes of type 1 with solely chelating pz ligands. The structure on the right depicts the neodymium complex.
