Genetic Measurements of Protein in the Grain of <i>Triticum Aestivum</i> L¹

Abstract

Synopsis Mean grain protein of F 2 plants and F 3 lines was intermediate to the parental varieties. Multigenic control of protein level was indicated. Heritability estimates of grain protein as high as 0.65 were obtained.
