Increased angiogenin expression in the tumor tissue and serum of urothelial carcinoma patients is related to disease progression and recurrence

Abstract

These results indicate that ANG is strongly expressed in the tumor tissue and is present in high levels in the serum of patients with invasive urothelial carcinoma compared with superficial carcinoma patients and that elevation of serum ANG level could be used as a novel predictor of the prognoses of patients with urothelial carcinoma.
