Synthesis of 3-Oxa- and 3-Aza-1-dethiacepham Analogs

Abstract

A convenient synthesis of 3-oxa- and 3-aza-1-dethiacepham analogs via [2+2]cycloaddition of in situ generated Ketenes and 1,3-benzoxazine and quinazoline derivatives as imine components is described.
