Calculations of the effect of polydispersity on the integrated intensities of the various contributions to the spectral distribution of light scattered from infinitely dilute solutions of rigid-rod and Gaussian-coil macromolecules have been performed using Schulz's molecular size distribution. It is shown that rotational (or in the Gaussian-coil case—intramolecular) contributions become more important at lower scattering parameter values as the molecular size distribution becomes broader. Tables of the integrated intensities are given.
