The journal provides clinician‑focused reviews that integrate research, theory, and therapy to support practice and stimulate further study. Each issue is curated by an editor and a guest editor, featuring six to nine theme‑centered reviews with editorial commentary linking the articles to the central topic. The initial issues covered timely advances in neuroimaging, neuropsychiatric syndromes in developmental disability, and brain injury and legal responsibility.
This journal offers reviews of key neuropsychiatric topics for clinicians, with the aim of tying research findings to the needs of clinical practice. It strives to "unite theory, findings, and therapies in cohesive, comprehensive presentations. " The first three issues we examined did contain important, timely, and interesting topics that included advances in neuroimaging, neuropsychiatric syndromes in the developmentally disabled, and brain damage and legal responsibility. Each issue includes a brief introduction from the editor, followed by a few pages from a guest editor who has been invited to solicit submissions from others on the featured topic. Each issue has six to nine reviews organized around the central theme. The guest editor comments on how each of the articles in the issue conforms to or amplifies the theme.
