Community-Acquired Pneumonia Requiring Hospitalization among U.S. Adults

Abstract

The incidence of community-acquired pneumonia requiring hospitalization was highest among the oldest adults. Despite current diagnostic tests, no pathogen was detected in the majority of patients.
