Patterns of Breast Cancer Screening Among Lesbians at Increased Risk for Breast Cancer

Abstract

Additional studies are needed to validate these findings, identify the prevalence of lesbians in general samples of women at increased risk for breast cancer, and prospectively test lesbian sensitive educational intervention strategies designed to facilitate adherence to mammography screening guidelines in this population.
