Abstract

These results demonstrate uterine venous permeability to intermediate-sized solutes through a VEGF-sensitive pathway involving calcium and PLC-PKC, but not NO, and further substantiate a role for veno-arterial communication in uterine blood flow regulation during pregnancy.
