ABSTRACT Plasma testosterone levels were measured by the method of Finkelstein et al . (1961) before and after oral administration of dehydro epi androsterone and Δ 4 -androstenedione in normal women. The results suggest in vivo conversion of dehydro epi androsterone and Δ 4 -androstenedione to testosterone. The implications of these findings are discussed.
