Multiphoton processes in an intense laser field: III. Resonant ionization of hydrogen by subpicosecond pulses

We have calculated photoelectron energy spectra for ionization of H(1s) by subpicosecond pulses with wavelengths 608 and 616 nm and with maximum intensity 1.2\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}${10}^{14}$ W/${\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$. The main features of the recently measured spectrum (at 608 mm) are reproduced.
