We studied the exchange interaction of electrons in coupled quantum dots using the Heitler-London approximation. We found empirical dependence of the exchange interaction of electrons on the interdot distance and electron tunneling coefficient κ. Based on the calculation, we discussed the possibility of a “transient magnetic semiconductor”.
