Writing and speaking in medicine

Abstract

The three Councils for Postgraduate Medical Education (in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland) are setting up a National Advice Centre to advise doctors on opportunities for postgraduate medical edu- cation and training in the United Kingdom. The centre will bring together several separate agencies at present helping doctors (part- icularly those from overseas). The service will incorporate that provided by the BMA for non-members and that run by the British Postgraduate Medical Federation for overseas doctors. The BMA will continue to advise its own members and those of affiliated organ- isations.
