Data processing and representation in the MFL method for nondestructive testing

Abstract

A method for the retrieval of measurement data, as well as their processing and graphical representation in a nondestructive testing, which is based on the recording of magnetic flux leakage, is briefly described. The requirements for the corresponding measuring system are described. Examples from the field of pipeline inspection and steel rope inspection and production boring well are given.
