Effects of pH on Protein Binding of Lidocaine

Abstract

Protein binding of lidocaine (2.5, 5, 10, and 20 μg/ml) in fresh plasma was studied from pH 5.6 to pH 9.8. Percent binding of lidocaine was inversely related to hydrogen-ion and lidocaine concentrations.
