Correction to “Chemistry of hydrothermal vent fluids from the Main Endeavour Field, northern Juan de Fuca Ridge: Geochemical controls in the aftermath of June 1999 seismic events”

Abstract

[1] In the paper “Chemistry of hydrothermal vent fluids from the Main Endeavour Field, Northern Juan de Fuca Ridge: Geochemical controls in the aftermath of June 1999 seismic events” by W. E. Seyfried Jr., J. S. Seewald, M. E. Berndt, K. Ding, and D. I. Foustoukos (Journal of Geophysical Research, 108(B9), 2429, doi:10.1029/2002JB001957, 2003), Tables 2 and 3 contain typographical errors in the chemical data involving the reported concentrations of dissolved Li. In Table 2 the Li concentration reported for sample M3468A (Hulk vent) should be 157 μm/kg, not 112 μm/kg. In Table 3 the Li concentration for the Dante end-member should be 351 μm/kg, not 315 μm/kg.
