Simple geometrical constraints of micropatterned substrates can be used to manipulate the direction and directional persistence of motile cells (scale bar: 20 μm). Modulation of the directional bias is demonstrated by altering pattern parameters and signal pathways. Detailed facts of importance to specialist readers are published as ”Supporting Information”.
