Molecular Structures and Dynamics: Beamline for Time Resolved Spectroscopy at the MAX Synchrotron in Lund

Abstract

Based on time correlated single photon counting the time structure of MAX operating in the multibunch mode at 500 MHz between 100–500 MeV was investigated. Dependent on electron current and energy the pulsewidth of the synchrotron radiation was found to lie between 35–160 ps (σ).
