Effect of a Monoclonal Antibody to PCSK9 on LDL Cholesterol

Abstract

In three phase 1 trials, a monoclonal antibody to PCSK9 significantly reduced LDL cholesterol levels in healthy volunteers and in subjects with familial or nonfamilial hypercholesterolemia.
