Using the isolated-core-excitation scheme we have measured the energies and widths, as well as resonance profiles of the Sr 5 (J = 1,3) autoionizing Rydberg states for . We have characterized the excitation spectra by the sum of two Lorentzians extracting the observed energies and widths. The manifestations involved in the spectra are interpreted in detail. Some of the J = 3 data are compared with the available ones, and good agreement between them is achieved.
