Intensity measurements on the A² -X²  system of aluminium oxide

Abstract

Relative integrated band intensities of 29 bands of the blue-green system of aluminium oxide, excited in a low pressure arc, have been measured by photographic photometry. The electronic transition moment was found to have the form Re(r) = const. (1-0.46 r); 1 50 Å <r <1.85 Å.
