Serum Uric Acid and Renal Prognosis in Patients with IgA Nephropathy

Abstract

Hyperuricemia in IgA nephropathy is derived from both glomerular and tubulointerstitial damage, and correlated with hypertension. Hyperuricemia is a risk factor for renal prognosis in IgA nephropathy.
