Abstract CoAl2O4, with the spinel structure in a dispersed form, was synthesized at 400 °C by using zeolite A as a starting material. A specific surface area of the products was measured by adsorption of (CH3)2CHCH3 gas at −110 °C and the mean size of the product particles was estimated to be about 14 nm.
