Wavelength-Modulation Spectra and Band Structures of InP and GaP

Abstract

Modulated-reflectivity measurements of InP and GaP at 5, 77, and 300 \ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}K are compared with empirical-pseudopotential calculations of the electronic band structure, the imaginary part of the frequency-dependent dielectric function, and the derivative of the reflectivity.
