Abstract

This review summarizes the results of long-term research of authors who studied the mechanisms of aging and the effectiveness of peptide bioregulators in preventing age-related diseases in laboratory animals. The data on evaluating the peptide effects produced using the advanced techniques in research institutes in Russia and abroad are presented. The most attention is focused on the ability of peptide bioregulators to increase the life span and inhibit the carcinogenesis in animals.
