The structures of three lines of Kr I have been investigated by means of an atomic beam containing metastable krypton atoms and excited by a CW single-mode tunable dye laser. The metastable atoms are produced inside the 'oven' of the atomic beam apparatus by a hollow cathode or by an electrodeless discharge. The isotope shifts of the stable even isotopes 80Kr, 82Kr, 84Kr and 86Kr have been investigated for the three lines lambda =556, 557 and 565 nm. The isotope shift and hyperfine structure of 83Kr have been measured for the line lambda =557 nm.
