The structure factor of gallium has been measured by neutron scattering at temperatures 326 and 959 K and densities 0.0525 and 0.0490 at./A${\r{}}^{3}$ (6.08 and 5.674 g/${\mathrm{cm}}^{3}$). The domain of measured wave vectors ranges from 0.26 to 16.2 A${\r{}}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}1}$. The precision of the experiments allowed us the determination of an effective pair potential between the gallium atoms at these two thermodynamic states.
