Photoelectric observations on the U, B, V system have now been obtained for 340 stars which were chosen by their proper motions as possible members of the Hyades cluster Of these stars, 245 appear to be members of the cluster A large percentage of the stars chosen from proper motions as possible cluster members fall below the main sequence and would be subdwarfs if cluster members. A limited radialvelocity survey of these stars by 0 C Wilson has, however, rejected these stars from membership Many of these "subdwarfs" have relatively large ultraviolet excesses.
