Cellularity and Cartilage Matrix Increased in Hypertrophied Ligamentum Flavum

Abstract

Higher cellularity and increased cartilage matrix area are important changes in LF hypertrophy. These results suggest that BMP signaling and mechanical stress may play a role in the hypertrophied LF.
