Different risk factors for musculoskeletal complaints and musculoskeletal sickness absence

Abstract

Work-related physical and psychosocial factors largely determine the occurrence of low-back pain and upper-extremity complaints, whereas individual factors predominantly determine whether persons with these musculoskeletal complaints take sick leave.
