Anti‐N Antibodies in Hemodialysis Patients

Abstract

Anti‐N is a rare antibody. This paper describes six examples in patients on hemodialysis for chronic renal failure. They were detected over a two‐year period from 40 patients on hemodialysis. The antibody appears only after some months on dialysis. Four patients were group MN, one patient MM, and one NN. The direct antiglobulin test was positive in all patients.
