The study aims to determine how practitioners tackle professional problem solving. The study examines professional practice through interviews and questionnaires, exploring reflection, specialized knowledge, solution repertoires, and demographic differences. The findings show that specialist knowledge is essential but improvisation is key, and that combining applied knowledge with reflection enhances professional practice.
