Solute-solute intermolecular energy transfer has been studied in the ternary solution system toluene-TP (p-terphenyl)-TPB (1,1', 4,4'-tetraphenyl-butadiene) with a TP concentration of 2.17×10-2 M, and TPB concentrations from 1.5 × 10-6 M to 6×10-3 M, using excitation wavelengths from 285 mμ to 365 mμ.
