Quantum Efficiency and Instrumental Polarization of an Optical Monochromator

Abstract

Experiences from a determination of the over-all quantum efficiency and instrumental polarization of an optical monochromator and detection system (near ultraviolet, visible, and near infrared), including application of imperfect polarizers, are discussed and related to atomic and electronic collision studies.
