A SIMPLIFYING TECHNIQUE IN THE SOLUTION OF A CLASS OF DIFFRACTION PROBLEMS

Abstract

EXAMPLES are given which show that considerable simplification can be achieved in the formulation of diffraction problems which lead to Wiener-Hopf integral equations by taking the transform before applying the boundary conditions.
