Abstract

In exploring the placement needs of children of Black mixed parentage, Nick Banks focuses on three main areas: research evidence relating to the over-representation of children of mixed parentage in care; social workers' perceptions of ethnic difference relative to their own ethnic groups; and possible trends in the placement of mixed parentage children.
