Dr. Prior is Director of the Epidemiology Unit at the Wellington Hospital in Wellington, New Zealand. His interests, other than skiing and collecting paintings, are in the field of cardiovascular epidemiology and preventive cardiology. His training includes several years at the National Heart Hospital in London and at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston, where he was a Fulbright Scholar
