Abstract

Abstract A short synthesis of the pharmacologically important natural product (+)‐preussin is described. Two asymmetric C–C bond‐formation reactions mediated by binaphthol‐derived asymmetric catalysts have been applied to control the stereochemistry of its three stereocenters.
